Trans-Plurilanguaging Practices in Cross-cultural Management between Japan and Canada Some Insights for Business Training?

Working as a Business Consultant / Business Development Specialist in Tokyo and Vancouver has made me think more about language and cultural barriers. I believe that understanding and respecting other languages and cultures is the key to developing businesses in other countries. People grow up in different places and think differently, therefore unless you try to understand their culture and/or stories, it is almost impossible to do business with them, and language plays a big role in communication. It doesn’t have to be fluent, but it is important to try to understand as mentioned. I hope this book will give the readers a new perspective to the global society.
